As part of Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital’s committment to the wellbeing and resilience of its people, staff were given the opportunity to talk with Listener Poets from The Good Listening Project over the course of several months in 2023.
Topics on the minds of participants ranged widely. Listener Poets began each conversation by asking, “What should the poem be about?”
Then, they listened.
