Care for the Caregivers
A Listening & Creative Arts Community for Those Who Care for Others
Caregivers: We Want to Hear Your Story
Choose a time below to talk with a Listener Poet.
We’re inviting caregivers to share your experiences of caregiving – the moments of tenderness, challenge, love, and resilience that shape your journey. Our Listener Poets will transform your story into a custom poem – a gift for you to keep. With your permission, these poems will also be gathered into an anthology to honor and amplify the voices of those who care for others.
Sessions take place via Zoom or phone and are offered at no cost, thanks to the generosity of our donors and program sponsors.
About the Program
Caregiver Haven is designed for informal caregivers – those who care for loved ones without formal training or support systems. Through listening, poetry, and community connection, this initiative offers emotional support and creative reflection in a safe, judgment-free space.
Our Offerings Include:
One-on-one Listener Poet sessions
A forthcoming Caregiver Chronicles anthology featuring poems that honor and amplify caregivers’ stories
Our Goals
Support and Empower
Caregivers gain access to ongoing, no-cost one-on-one sessions with Listener Poets. These conversations offer a safe place to be heard and reflected, helping caregivers feel seen, supported, and valued.
Foster Community
Caregivers connect with others who understand their journey, building relationships, sparking creative expression, and nurturing mutual care.
Amplify Voices
The Caregiver Chronicles anthology will share poems – written with permission – to raise awareness of caregivers’ realities and resilience. This collection will be shared with caregiver advocacy organizations and hospital partners.
Program Sponsorship
This program is offered at no cost to caregivers, made possible entirely through the generosity of our donors and sponsors. To learn more about sponsorship levels and benefits:
