We’re proud to share that The Good Listening Project team recently attended the End Well Conference 2025 in Los Angeles – joining a rich convening of voices dedicated to how we live, how we die, and how we care for one another.
The conference, held at the Skirball Cultural Center and streamed virtually, brought together thought-leaders, clinicians, advocates, and artists in a one-day exploration of truth, technology, and transformation in end-of-life care.
In person, Jenny Hegland, Ravenna Raven, and Oly Ammon represented TGLP, while Kevin Dieter, Erin Fitzgerald, and Ingrid Berg participated remotely.

A standout moment for our team was the "Sound as Sanctuary" experience by musician Murray Hidary who delivered a "silent concert" – an intimate headphones piano concert that invited listeners into a shared emotional landscape – and also incorporated poetic reflections. As an organization rooted in the arts and humanities, we were moved by the integration of music as a way of honoring the emotional complexity of dying, caregiving, and being human.

We at TGLP believe deeply that quality of life while dying matters – and that how we accompany one another in those final chapters is a profound act of love, justice, and humanity. Our alignment with End Well’s mission could not be clearer. We’re honored to bring this work into our partnerships supporting LGBTQ+ hospice patients at Memorial Sloan Kettering, the community at Grace House, the Schar Cancer Institute, and many others. We’re grateful to be part of this growing movement toward compassionate and inclusive end-of-life care.
