This summer marks the third year of our partnership with the KNN, as The Good Listening Project continues to capture voices across the Healthcare Graduate Education Continuum. Together, we are now creating the third volume of our collaborative anthology, with this year’s theme, The Poetry of Human Flourishing, exploring the experiences, values, and relationships that sustain those who care for others.

What can deep listening and poetry reveal about flourishing that ordinary conversation cannot? Learners, Listener Poets, and members of the Kern National Network for Flourishing in Health (KNN) community will join together for an evening of poetry in the KNN FOREST where we explore this question together.

Since January of this year, Certified Listener Poet alum Anne Marie Wells (Cohort 9) has been putting her Listener Poet skills to good use in collaboration with a project called "Conceptualizing 'The Patient Voice' in Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA) with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD)."
