Introducing our new Listener Poets!

Welcoming two graduates of CLP Cohort 11 to our Listener Poet team

Operations Lead and Listener Poet

The Good Listening Project’s community and the work we do are constantly evolving. We’ve recently welcomed two graduates of CLP Cohort 11 to our Listener Poet team: Elizabeth Torres and Rebecca Wilson.

I had the pleasure of onboarding Elizabeth and Rebecca in early November, when I was settling into my new role as Operations Lead and working to develop greater support for incoming Listener Poets. Rebecca’s kindness and presence, and Elizabeth’s discernment and attention to detail, came through even in the few onboarding conversations we shared. Serendipitously, Elizabeth—our first Spanish-speaking Listener Poet—came on just in time to provide sessions to our first group of Spanish-speaking poemees!

Each new Listener Poet that joins the team opens up new possibilities for this work. Our craft’s rootedness in self-awareness and compassion draws truly inspiring people into our orbit. I look forward to working more closely with the Listener Poets, new and old, in 2026.
