Kaitlin Dyer

Kaitlin Dyer is a born-Appalachian, raised-Midwestern, transplanted-Californian queer poet. She’s the author of Alter Lives of Alter Egos (Dancing Girl Press, 2015) and her poetry has appeared in journals such as Witness, Crab Orchard Review, and PANK, among others. Her work has been called “visceral and beautiful” by Roxane Gay and “brilliant” by the editors of Witness. She is honored to be an upcoming writing fellow during a Rosemary’s House residency in Summer 2025. She’s previously completed training and documentation to build credible and reliable Wikipedia articles on Latino/Latina/Latinx poets from Wiki Scholars as well as training from The Good Listening Project as a Certified Listener Poet.

She received her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from San Diego State University.
