Cortney Collins is a writer living on the Front Range of Colorado with her beloved partner and their five beloved feline companions – Pablo (after Neruda), Lida Rose, Mr. Bates (he's not at all a psycho - he's very sweet), Frances, and Figaro. Her poetry has been published by a wide variety of online and print journals.
She is the founder of the pandemic-era virtual poetry community Zoem (also affectionately known as "The Magpies"), and plays keyboards in the poetry band Brand New Queers. She does her best to pay attention.
