What communities do you work with in your daily life and how are you applying your learnings from the Certified Listener Poet course with them?
Residents and medical students - I often bring poetry prompts and use writing exercises in my teaching/holding space.
What’s something that’s inspiring your writing these days?
I’m inspired by the natural world (seasons continuing to change despite the news), by the strength of unexpected and quiet heroes, by my elders....
What one thing has stuck with you most from your Certified Listener Poet experience?
This is a process that WORKS! Listening generously and custom poetry heals communities, honors people, and is powerful.
